Barely 48 hours to the proposed planned hunger protest, a group which is part of the organisers for the protest has come out to identify themselves with the directive laid down by the Inspector -General of Police. The delegation which were seen at the headquarters of the police force in Kano to brief the Commissioner of their planned peaceful demonstration which is in line with the Fundamental rights as enshrined in the constitution.
Meanwhile Several Developments has been trailing the protest affair which many believed if not curtailed may be hijacked by mischief makers to cause escalated violence and destruction of valuable properties in the process.
According to Popular view, the protest is just a dress rehearsal for some unscrupulous individuals or gangs to go on brazen looting and inflict scores of bodily harm on innocent lives whom will bear the brunt as victims.
