He is also a professor and medical director at the Ochsner Neuroscience institute of New Orleans. Remarkably, he took a significant pay-cut from his well-paying role in the United States to allocate time every month to return to Nigeria. His mission: to perform life-saving brain and spinal surgeries- completely free of charge for underprivileged patients across several Nigerian states.
”I realized that I could be doing more than just living the American dream,” Dr Sulaiman said in a widely shared interview.” I wanted to bring my skills back home and serve the people who needed it most.”

Through his nonprofit RNZ Global, Dr. Sulaiman has led mobile clinics, trained local doctors, and donated critical medical equipment to underserved hospitals in Nigeria. Born in Lagos.Nigeria, Dr.Sulaiman won a scholarship to study medicine in Bulgaria where he earned his MD before relocating to Canada and then the United States for further training. Healthcare Reform Advocacy: Dr Sulaiman advocates for sustainable healthcare reform in Nigeria, calling for improved infrastructure, better policies, and stronger public-private partnerships to elevate the health sector.
Medical Missions: Dr.Sulaiman has been involved in numerous medical.missions, providing free medical care and surgical services to thousands of Nigerians through his wife, Patricia, he provides free medical services including neurosurgery and spine care to those in need in Nigeria, while providing preventive medicine to more than 5,000 people.
