As the clock winds down to the highly anticipated July 12 Local Government Elections, all roads in Alimisho Federal Constituency now lead to the ballot box as residents gear up to deliver a resounding victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC). With just seven days left, the atmosphere across the six local councils within Alimosho is electrifying with unity, purpose, and a determined call to action.
Alimosho, being the largest and most politically vibrant constituency in Lagos State, comprising Alimosho LGA, Egbe-Idimu,Ikotun-Igando, Mosan-Okunola, Agbado-Oke Odo, and Ayobo-Ipaja LCDAs, is witnessing heightened mobilization efforts as party loyalists, community leaders, market women, youth associations, and religious groups intensify support for the APC Chairmanship, Vice-Chairmanship, and Councillorship candidates.
The APC, known for it’s legacy of grassroots development and continuity in governance, has fielded candidates widely accepted across the communities, promising to further deepen the implementation of the T.H.E.M.E.S + Agenda as championed by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Campaign trains have been moving across wards, bringing the message of inclusive leadership and sustainable development to the doorsteps of residents. Speaking at a recent mobilization event held at Ifako mini stadium.Ifako. Lagos state.a party chieftain emphasized the importance of massive voter turnout, stating, ” We must speak with one voice across all six councils. Alimosho must remain a stronghold for the APC. We have tested and trusted candidates who are ready to hit the ground running from Day One.”
