In a strategic move to consolidate royal blessings and community support ahead of the July 12th Local Government Elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate for Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Hon. Abiodun Lukman Agbaje, fondly known as IJOBA IRORUN, paid a significant courtesy visit today to the Royal Court of the OLU of Megida Ajerogun Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba-Elect Abdul- Azeez Adegboyega Salam Olaleye.

The visit, held in the heart of Megida-Ayobo, was more than ceremonial . it was a profound consultative engagement aimed at aligning traditional authority with the political leadership aspirations for grassroots development, inclusiveness, and peace-building.

Hon.Agbaje, accompanied by a retinue of loyal party faithfuls, community stakeholders, and campaign coordinators, was warmly received by the Oba-elect, who is fast becoming a unifying symbol of cultural heritage and visionary leadership in Ayobo-Ipaja.
Speaking during the royal audience, Hon.Agbaje emphasizing the critical role of traditional institutions in political stability and participatory governance. He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to delivering people-oriented projects, ensuring administrative transparency, and upholding the values of qualitative representation.

”This is not just a campaign visit; it us a homecoming to seek wise counsel, traditional blessings, and royal partnership. The palace remains a beacon of hope and history, and I am here to assure Kabiyesi and the people of Megida that IJOBA IRORUN will be a government of peace, progress, and prosperity for all,” Agbaje said.
In his remarks, Oba-elect Abdul Azeez Salam Olaleye lauded the APC candidate’s humility and respect for tradition. He described Hon.Agbaje as a man of the people whose political journey has been marked by grassroots connection, youthful vigor, and visionary ideals.

The coming days will see intensified ward to ward engagements, voter sensitization, and interface with artisans,market women, youths ,and religious bodies, as APC in Ayobo-Ipaja rallies to secure a resounding victory at the grassroots.
