The Nigeria National Petrol Company Limited (NNPCL) has announced that it has commenced mobilization of trucks to the Dangote Refinery’s fuel loading gantry in Ibeju- Lekki.
The NNPCL had earlier announced that offloading of the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly called Petrol will begin on Sunday September 15, 2024.
It noted that as of Saturday afternoon, over 100 trucks, with hundreds more en route had being deployed.
The announcement was made in a tweet by the Commission on Saturday evening.
The Tweet reads, ‘In Preparation for the Dangote Refinery’s scheduled petrol loading on Sunday, September 15, 2024, NNPC Ltd.has been mobilizing trucks to the Refinery’s fuel loading gantry in Ibeju-Lekki.
‘As of Saturday afternoon, NNPC Ltd. had deployed over 100 trucks with hundred more en route’, it added.
Meanwhile Reactions have trailed this recent development from Netizens who expressed their views with regards directive from NNPCL.

I think they should focus on making these products affordable to Nigerians. Fuel is a key driver of the Nigerian economy considering the failure in the power sector. Making fuel available when no one, or most Nigerians can’t afford it makes no sense either.
