Hon.Okeowo Abiola Adeoye. Fondly known as Alamala, began his educational journey at Akodu Primary School, where he studied from 1991 to 1996. He proceeded to Birch Freeman High School, completing his secondary education in 2002.
In 2003, he furthered enrolled at A Prince Heirs College, where he earned his O’Level results with distinction. Driven by a passion for business and leadership, Hon. Okeowo pursued a degree in Business Administration at University of Ado Ekiti, graduating in 2008, Upon Completing his National Youth Service (NYSC) year with the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) in 2009, his exemplary performance led to his employment as a tax administrator in 2010.
Throughout his career at LIRS, Hon.Okeowo has served in various departments, gaining extensive experience in both the informal and formal sectors. His commitment to the professional growth is demonstrated by his participation in numerous capacity building programs, including certifications in conflict and negotiation, personal income tax training. He has since risen to the position of Revenue Officer within the organization.
Hon. Okeowo’s political career began with his involvement in the Alliance For Democracy (AD) as a dedicated follower in his ward.He played an active role in the Mushin Youth Forum (MUYA) during the tenure of Distinguished Senator Ganiu Olarewaju Solomon (GOS) as Chairman of Mushin Local Government. With a steadfast commitment to party service, he transitioned to the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) during former Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola’s administration, where he served as a canvasser during election periods.
A key member of the Liberal Minds Front line in Mushin Local Government, Hon. Okeowo was also an ambassador to Hon.Bolaji Yusuf Ayinla and the late Hon.Olayiwols Sobur (Omititi) during their legislative tenure in Mushin. His passion for community development and youth empowerment led him to contest twice as a councilor in Ward E in 2014 and 2016.
Further solidifying his commitment to the youth, Hon .Okeowo founded the Achievers Youth Foundation, an organization dedicatee to advocating for youth participation in the electoral process and supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In addition, Hon. Okeowo is a bonafide member of the Mandate Group under the leadership of Apex Mandate Chairman Prince Bayo Osiyemi and GAC leader, Distinguished Senator Ganiu Olarenwaju Solomon, who is also the APC leader of Mushin & Odi-Olowo.
He is also a committee member of the Mushin Peace Walk, where he serves as Financial Secretary under the late Tunji Bello, who was the Executive Secretary to Mushin Local Government.
In his community service, Hon. Okeowo is an active member of Rotary, contributing to a various charitable initiatives and service projects. During the last election in 2023, Hon . Okeowo played a crucial role in his local government by mobilizing door to door campaigns for Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Hon.Okeowo is a devoted family man, blessed with a lovely wife, Mrs Okeowo Olubunmi, and two wonderful children.
