Further solidifying his dedication to educational advancement, Tunde Jakande recently donated #1million to the Educational Trust Fund, s gesture aimed at supporting under-resourced schools and providing scholarships for outstanding pupils. This generous donation underscores his unwavering belief in education as the bedrock of national development.

The Irish Embassy, a key partner in the project, lauded the initiative as a model for cultural and educational diplomacy A representative of the embassy stated.”This collaboration is a testament to what can be achieved when we invest in the potential of our children.”

In a formal correspondence to the organizers, Ornua Diary Products Nigeria Limited announced its sponsorship of the Lagos Final of the competition, commuting a cash prize of #2 million. Additionally, the company outlined further contributions, including

1.Distribution of product gift packs comprising milk products, exercise books, and promotional materials valued at #1 million to all program attendees, aimed at promoting educational excellences and wholesome living.

2.Provision of wet sampling services, offering their liquified milk product to attendees, also valued at #1 million, to encourage nutrition and lifestyle.

The company’s generous support demonstrates its dedication to investing in the future of young Nigerians and promoting educational excellence. LG News Academy has played a pivotal role in providing logistical support to ensure the success of the competition’s third edition.

The Embassy of Ireland in Nigeria, a major partner in hosting the PPSDC since its inception in 2022, will host the final of the competition at the Glover Memorial Hall, Lagos, on June 13th at 11 am.
