Wonders they say will never cease to end, A shocking scenario of a young man suspected to be a ritualist and internet fraudster A.K.A Yahoo Yahoo was captured by a netizen via his mobile phone having his bath in broad daylight by the roadside of a popular Igando Market yesterday.
The said man whose name remains anonymous was stark naked taking a shower in the open public space to the surprise of onlookers who were bewildered by such daring act while some stood to catch a glimpse revelling an air of utter disbelief.
A passerby who was at the scene lamented the desperate steps that most of these younger generation would take in a bid to acquire ill gotten wealth Thereby damning the consequences, he was quoted in the video saying “ You fit baff for inside Market To Cash Out??? Meaning Can One Be So Confident To Walk In A Market And Take His/Her Bath in the cause of turning his fortunes Around???
These is a serious societal concern to ponder, gone were the days the slogan “there is dignity in labour” which once propelled citizens to imbibe their time diligently by taking pride with recourse to towing the route of hardwork as a norm accepted by all and sundry but in a new twist of change, these old belief has since been replaced with the new fad of get rich quick syndrome as society of today openly endorses unaccounted source of fortune or wealth acquired by young people from questionable background . And to crown it, these ill gotten wealth can be traced to all sorts of heinous crimes indulged by several of our teeming youths whom have overtime delved into all manner of occultic and ritual acts just to cut corners in the quest to escape poverty by arriving into a glamorous world of fast life without having second thoughts of how their evil sorjourn will lead to their eventual peril.
It is appalling to behold how the chase for Materialism has outlived the tenets of values and morals, cascading the fabrics of African upbringing into a society debased of raising today’s youths with standards devoid of negative societal vices with indoctrination into crime and occultic tendencies which regrettably have come to stay or preferably has etched it’s hold on the mindsets of the much touted generation Z.
