..Causes Traffic Gridlock On Busy Road As Motorist Were Caught In Several Hours Of Impromptu Hold Up Today.
Today witnessed a worrisome scene along Ikotun Axis when students of Government Technical College were seen pelting stones, bottles and harmful objects against dreaded street urchins in what seem to be a free for all violent clash in the bristling Sunny after hours of the day precisely around 2 o’clock pm.
The said clash which saw a crowded mob of students who in their fit and rage created a mild drama thereby causing a gridlock halt on the ever busy council road as motorist and commuters were undeniably stucked for hours till the scenario died down..During the clash even with the visibly strategic location of the Ikotun Divisional Police Station, No effort to douse the risen tension on the part of security operatives as expected. Instead the Students had a field day disrupting the peace of the community with their unruly behavior. Efforts to get to the root of the said imbroglio proved abortive as not even the passers by who witnessed the bloody clash were ready to narrate what transpired to our investigating correspondence for the fear of their lives.
However after a while, The Students in their Numbers Were Forced By Elderly people Who came to salvage the ugly situation before it escalates further, by dispersing The Uncontrollable Delinquents in other to ease the free flow of Traffic before everything returned back to normalcy.
