In line with today’s independence anniversary celebration. The Member House of Rep (MHR) for Oshodi-Isolo II Federal Constituency in person of Hon. Jessy Okey -Joe Onuakalusi has conveyed a message of solidarity and hope across his federal constituency as he commemorate with them on today’s independence day of the country.
In his written address “63 years ,it was the desire and aspirations of our founding fathers that Nigeria would in comparison be near to that of eldorado, he remarked that the Black man envisaged upon visualizing the incontrovertible dignity of his total well-being restored unfortunately this was sadly not case as we lost it he opened.
However the twenty four years of our fourth republic is inadvertently a political dispensation with timely opportunity to reinvent a pivotal will in the art of legislative policy direction that will bear positive impacts on our dear constituents in terms of qualitative and pragmatic representation
These social contract having painstakingly voted my candidacy in the political annals of Oshodi -Isolo federal Constituency II will definitely spur me ahead, not only to meet your anticipated expectations but promise to deliver and also make a difference.
Due to the economic downturns experienced at the moment of our Nationhood it will not be out of touch to say we have hit the ground running, to speak the obvious truth, we are not there yet but I would crave your indulgence to please bear in mind that I am working assiduously in my resolve to coast home the dividends of democracy to my fellow constituents at large,so believe me when I say there is light at the end of the tunnel for us all.
To the good people of Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II permit me the moment to inform you that we have made considerable efforts and progress in the areas of bills and motions presented to the house that will have transformative effects and lasting impacts in your lives,and I am also resilient in the drive not to leave a stone unturned with recourse to carrying out crucial decisions and necessary contacts that will bring succour to our people.
As we speak all hands are on deck to match our words by walking the talk in other to deliver people oriented policies amidst cogent tasks such as in areas of infrastructural development, Empowerment and Skill acquisition, provision of qualitative healthcare and job opportunities employment across board for our vast population of unemployed teeming youths.let it be known that in my yearning to serve, I will always be accessible to fair and constructive criticism,opinions and ideas based on the general interest of our deserving Constituents who form bulk of the electorates that I am accountable to and also place their hard earned trust in my care,I will not let you down.
