The Political Home turf And Base of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Alimosho Federal Constituency over the past days was caught in a sudden wave of a controversial leadership tussle within its camp by a splinter faction who allegedly masterminded a political ‘coup’ assuaging claims of supremacy and being in charge of the Apex Leadership Hierarchy.
This false alarm reportedly spurned by mischief makers and hirelings of the splinter faction was fast gaining momentum but for the timely intervention of a Front line Pro Tinubu Caucus Progressive Group under the umbrella of Justice Forum/Asiwaju Solidarity Movement (ASM) Alimosho Federal Constituency Led By Her Excellency Dr. Princess Victoria Adejoke Orelope- Adefulire.
In a communique released by the Head of Media Directorate to correct the misleading impression and more so clarify grey areas, the State Exco Officio For Justice Forum (Alimosho) Hon.Akinola Bashiru Idowu gave an official account of who wields the Acclaimed Leadership Position And Uncontested Control in Alimosho’s Political Terrain.
”The attention of the Hierarchy And Generality of Justice Forum And Asiwaju Solidarity Movement in Alimosho Federal Constituency Has Been Drawn To The Recent Political Paparazzi and desperate attempt to seek for Apex leadership of Alimosho.”
A position that was never lost but rests squarely with the Natural Leader, Her Excellency Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire.
Adejoke Orelope -Adefulire was the first elected representative of Alimosho Local Government when it was created. She contested election to the Lagos State House of Assembly in 1991 and was sworn in January 1992 as the First female lawmaker. There is no argument or ambiguity about that. Her consistency, loyalty,tenacity ,passion for good governance, and development of Lagos State and the residents, especially the women and children, can not be over- emphasised. Her hardworking earned her many appointments and accolades. She (Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire) was appointed as Electoral Commissioner in Lagos State, Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Commissioner, Deputy Governor of Lagos State and currently a second term Senior Special Assistant To Mr President ( No politician has ever attained such feat).
This can only be the grace of God, divine providence and trust, and confidence of her leader, father, and mentor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Mr President.

It is against this background that one can not but marvel at the desperadoes who are running helter-skelter canvassing and campaigning from pillar to post for Apex Leadership.

A reunion for personal gain does not automatically make someone an Apex Leader.
