Man narrates brutal ordeal from the hand’s of a Female Doctor in Ipaja area.Alimosho

An Automobile Mechanic Adesanya Adetunji, was at his work place around 5pm in the evening when he received a call from Mrs Adejonwo Valentine One of his Customer whom he always referred to as ”mummy” requesting him to come to see her at her place.
According to Mr Adesanya the said lady resides within Baruwa area in Ipaja, Lagos , He mentioned of an existing customer- mechanic relationship for about two years and on getting to the residence of Mrs Adejonwo he saw four hefty stern looking men but could only recognize one amongst them which happens to be the junior brother of the Alleged Customer.

Immediately he entered the premises,these men padlocked the gate, while he observed the house help looking sullen with blood shot eye’s.
The men questioned him about his identity asking if he was T-J? And he replied in the affirmative, he was further grilled if he know one Mr Ola which he responded that the Said Ola is the driver to his customer Mrs Adejonwo Valentine and there existed a casual interaction between the two as mechanic to driver basis only. After clarifying himself, a personal mobile phone was seized and also searched. It was in the process of checking the mobile cell when they stumbled on a current call transaction between him and Ola.

He explained how he was trying to secure a loan disbursement in other to rent an apartment approximately near to his workplace, having complained bitterly of wanting to leave the present job he’s doing but was dissuaded by Adesanya over the idea, citing reasons she must not leave his source of income.
After giving full details on what transpired between the two of them, these men rather not convinced decided to tie Mr Adesanya’s hands and leg, where he was beaten black and blue ,Tortured and naked with sustained injuries as a result of a mutilated body from repeatedly blade cuts. While the Beating was on, Mrs Adejonwo retreated into her room to change from a gown to trousers, she brought out a bottle, smashed it on the floor to stab Mr Adesanya’s tied hand and leg.
The Mechanic revealed the next line of action which Mrs Adejonwo took was to place hot pressing iron at the back of his naked body, he disclosed how he was dehumanised at the hand of his tormentors from 5pm to 8pm (three hours interval), in a bid to escape the agonizing pain, he confessed to the alleged crime under duress. He was then locked in a Toilet, and given a bottle filled with tap water, a slice of bread, but instead he drank the water but refused to eat the bread.

Sequel To the Next Day, A Sunday Morning, he was whisked away to the police station and the policemen were bewildered by the woman’s audacity to spearhead the beating and torturing of a grown man. Inspector Agbalagbi the IPO in charge of the case was said to have called the mechanic unprintable names without having any sympathy for his gravelly condition. Later that Sunday Night Adesanya was taken to the hospital but wasn’t attended to not even a bed to sleep on even after the initial pledge of Mrs Adejonwo to pay for a bed, the mechanic slept on a chair overnight withering unbearable in pains. It was the doctor who out of pity took him to his office , the next day to sleep on his own bed.

On Tuesday,18th February 2025 ,in the morning Mrs Adejonwo proceeded to the Hospital to pick Adesanya back to Ipaja Police Station. She accused the mechanic of denying his involvement, she said her mother was a herbalist and according to her, the mum had for seen everything that happened.
A Witness Mrs Shalom Opeyemi Ogunwunmi gave first hand evidence about the brutalized affair meted out to Adesanya by Mrs Adejonwo Valentine said to be a practising medical doctor, her brother Juwon and the three other guys presently at large. Mrs Shalom said she saw Dr Valentine burn the back of The Mechanic in question with hot iron, to buttress further she was said to record the disturbing scene to serve as a back up evidence. She also attested to the stabbing of Adesanya on his knee and palm with a broken bottle by the irate doctor.
Mrs Shalom claimed to have pleaded on behalf of The Mechanic but Dr Valentine threatened her with a knife saying she could kill her and nothing will come out of it because she has the support of the Dad who is a top ranking police officer and had won many cases with his influence while her mother was a spiritualist , she also mentioned that she wasn’t budged even if it cost her loosing her practising license in the process.
However Mrs Shalom was released to go home very late on the 15th of February, the night of the incident and was called by Dr Valentine the next day, to come to her house so they could go to Sango in search of Ola (The Driver).
On getting to Dr Valentine’s house around 10am, she was shocked to find out that Mr Adesanya was locked inside her toilet along with the house keeper after undergoing gruelling dehumanization by she(Adejonwo) her brother and the other three guys involved.
Dr Valentine claimed she had several people backing her up and she was familiar with SP Amadi who was aware of the torture of the Mechanic and asked for him to be brought to the station.
While at the Ipaja Police station she was privy to witness the barrage of insults thrown to the wounded mechanic by the IPO Mr Agbalagbi. It was later learnt that Dr Valentine approached her and requested that she learnt her the sum of Fifty thousand naira(#50,000) to give the IPO Mr Agbalagbi, she made the transfer using a POS agent in the station’s premises. She claimed that the total amount she sent was Fifty-one thousand five hundred naira(#51,500) including the payment for charges.
Mr Agbalagbi asked Mrs Shalom to write her statement, he asked if she was having issues writing in English and proceeded to write the statement on her behalf. In her words ” The only thing I wrote in the statement was my name”.
She further said that the IPO took her to meet the DCO who name was withheld. She said after the IPO had a conversation with the DCO, He ordered that she should be handcuffed and taken to the DPO’s office.
While they were at the DPO’s office Mrs Shalom noticed the IPO accused her and changed the entire story. He demanded that she should be locked up in a cell in Ipaja police station. She was asked by the IPO Mr Agbalagbi to provide the sum of Fifty thousand naira for her bail and she explained that was the money she lent Dr Valentine to give him. She reached out for her money by contacting Adejonwo but all efforts to retrieve the said money was rebuffed.
According to her, Dr Valentine said she sent one hundred thousand naira(#100,000) to the IPO Agbalagbi after the initial fifty thousand and that the bail settlement was not a problem.
Mrs Shalom was locked up in Ipaja police station for four days without given the privilege to reach out to her lawyer or any of her family members. She also requested to meet with the IPO Mr Agbalagbi to no avail.
