A Video of Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, struggling to pronounce the figure for the state’s  budget for 2925 has gone viral on social media.

Drama unfolded at the Edo state House of Assembly earlier today as the governor elect, Monday Okpebholo goofed while presenting the budget, making obvious grammatical blunders.

In what appears to be an effort to control the very embarrassing scene,Okpebholo ordered the arrest of Cameramen and journalists covering the 2025 budget presentation to prevent the video footage from circulating.

The order for the arrest is to prevent the journalists from going to the press with his poor budget address. During his presentation before the State Assembly, the governor was jittery as he was seen making occasional stops as s result of his inability to read out the speech effectively.

Governor Okpebholo had on Tuesday presented an estimated #605 Billion for the 2025 fiscal year at the Edo State House of Assembly .

The embarrassment is palpable, especially for a state renowned for its educational excellence. The governor’s inability to read his own budget figures is a travesty, its hard to imagine a more dismal scenario coming from the number one citizen of the State.
