Congratulations to the Schwarzenegger of this era,Nigerian Bodybuilder Samson Dauda Who Won the 2024 Mr.Olympia contest, beating two former World Champions, Hadi Choopan from Iran And Derek Lunsford of the USA, marking a historic moment by claiming the largest prize in the sport’s history.
The event was held at the Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, culminating the 2024 Olympia weekend with an showdown among fifteen elite athletes who advanced from the pre-judging rounds.
Mr Dauda’s impressive victory placed him ahead of runner up Hadi Choopan, while last year’s champion, Derek Lunsford, Finished third.
Alongside the title, the first placed Samson Dauda was honoured as the People’s Champion and awarded a staggering $600,000, the highest sum ever awarded in bodybuilding competition. Notably Arnold Schwarzenegger, a legendary figure, previously dominated the Mr.Olympia stage with six consecutive titles from 1970 to 1975.
Mr Olympia is an annual bodybuilding competition and title awarded to the professional men’s body building contest winner in the open division at Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend. The international bodybuilding competition is sanctioned by international Federation of bodybuilding (IFBB) Professional League.
